When you upload music for the first time, it's strongly recommended to pick an artist or band name that isn’t already in use on streaming platforms. A distinctive name makes your music easier for listeners to find and helps keep your releases separate from others with similar names.
In some cases, using the same artist name as someone else can’t be avoided. If that happens, it doesn’t affect how you receive your earnings. Should your music end up on the wrong artist page, feel free to email us at help@emastered.com to let us know and see if we can resolve it for you.
Earnings for Artists With the Same Name:
Sharing a name with another artist won’t affect how you’re paid. Earnings are tracked separately from artist names, so eMastered collects your royalties from streaming services and deposits them into your eMastered royalties as usual.
