A waterfall-style release is one where new tracks are added over time on a single page.
Although eMastered doesn’t natively support waterfall-style album releases you can achieve a similar effect using either of two methods:
• Album-first approach: Upload the full album with a scheduled release date. eMastered assigns ISRC codes to each track. Then, upload individual singles using those same ISRCs and assign unique release dates. Use the “already got an ISRC code?” option to enter codes.
• Single-first approach: Upload singles individually with auto-generated ISRCs. Once ready, release the full album and include those same ISRCs.
You then have the flexibility to either remove the singles from services later or keep both versions live.
