Tidal streams music at the quality of your original master.
To be eligible for their premium “Max” audio badge, your upload must be in WAV, FLAC, or AIFF format at a minimum of 24-bit depth and a sample rate higher than 44.1 kHz—up to 192 kHz. With these specs, Tidal will label your track with the “Max” badge.
If your files are 16-bit at 44.1 kHz, they’ll receive the standard “High” badge. For detailed technical requirements, refer to Tidal’s official documentation.
