eMastered lets you specify different artist roles to clarify how each person contributed to a release—these roles can be assigned at either the album or track level.

Album Artist
The Album Artist is the main credited performer for the release. For example, Jay Z is the Album Artist on his album The Blueprint.

If most songs are by the same artist but a few have other contributors, enter that consistent artist’s name in the "Artist/band name" field as the Album Artist. Any additional contributors should be noted per track.

Primary Artist
The Primary Artist refers to the main performer(s) on an individual track. For example, on Kanye West's album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Kanye West is the Album Artist. On the track “Devil In A New Dress” both Kanye West and Rick Ross are credited as Primary Artists, marking it as a collaborative track.

Featured Artist
Featured Artists contribute to a track but aren’t considered central performers. They often appear for a specific verse or vocal part.

Remixer
A Remixer reinterprets or reworks an existing song.

Producer
Producer credits may vary by platform. On Spotify, you can view producer credits by right-clicking a track and selecting "Show Credits."
