You can include both a clean (radio-friendly) version and an explicit version of the same song within a single release.
To do so however you will need to add two tracks to the release, with one being the clean and one being the explicit version.
How to handle this in the upload form:
For the explicit version, use the “Explicit Lyrics” section to mark the track as containing explicit content:
This metadata flag ensures streaming platforms correctly show the explicit designation.
For the clean version, use the “Re-release Version Title?” field and select “Radio Edit” to denote that it’s a non-explicit rendition of the track.
This approach should be used only if an explicit version of that song is also being released. If your original submission isn’t explicit, simply mark it as non-explicit.
If you're submitting a clean version of an entire album, append “(Radio Edit)” to the album’s title—for example: Album Title (Radio Edit).
