To take down an album or single from digital music services, follow these steps:
1. Log into your eMastered account.
2. Find and select the release you'd like to remove from the "catalog," section of the distribution dashboard by clicking the three dot icon to the top right of the release.

3. Click on “Delete Release," if you want the release to be entirely gone. Choose "Remove from streaming services," to have the release taken down but kept as a draft for you to edit and re-submit.
4. If you chose "Delete Release," you'll be shown the release deletion pop-up, which will require you to check the box confirming the release will be deleted with no way to recover it.

Clicking "Delete," will finalize the deletion.
If instead you clicked "Remove From Streaming Services," you will see a slightly different version of this popup, still requiring you to check the box confirming the action cannot be undone.
Timeline for Deletion
After submitting your request to delete the release, most platforms will process the removal within the same timeframe it took for them to publish it initially.
It typically takes between 1 and 2 weeks for the content to be fully removed from every store — although some services may process the deletion faster.
- Spotify usually removes content within two business days.
- Anghami generally processes deletions in about 48 hours.
