If you’ve submitted a request to remove your release from streaming platforms, the takedown usually takes about the same amount of time as it did for the release to go live.

In general, it may take 1–2 weeks for the content to disappear from all platforms, though some may update sooner.

Below are rough timeframes for takedown completion by platform:

Spotify: 2–5 days

Apple Music: 1–7 days

YouTube Music: roughly 1–3 days

Amazon: about 5–7 days

YouTube Content ID: can take up to 4 weeks

TIDAL: approximately 1 week

TikTok: usually about 3 weeks

Instagram/Meta: may take as long as 4 weeks
