Distributing Your Music on YouTube: eMastered vs. Manual Uploads

When you use eMastered to upload your music, it becomes available on YouTube Music and appears on the main YouTube site as Art Tracks.

These are placed on automatically generated Topic Channels by YouTube.

These Topic Channels organize music from distributors and use the audio, artwork, and metadata to create Art Tracks, which are static videos that play your song with the album cover visible.

These tracks are also used in YouTube Music’s catalog.

eMastered does not create or manage these Topic Channels or Art Tracks—YouTube does, and they can't be edited or claimed.

While you can still upload music videos directly to your personal YouTube channel, having your music also distributed through eMastered allows you to earn from ad revenue on Art Tracks and from royalties via YouTube Music.
