If your music on YouTube Music appears on an unfamiliar channel, it's likely a "topic" channel.

Topic channels are auto-generated by YouTube to host music from artists. When you distribute music to YouTube Music via eMastered, it gets published on these topic channels, which are distinct from your personal YouTube artist channel. These channels make your music accessible through YouTube Music.

To also have your music appear on your own personal YouTube channel, you can request that your channel be upgraded to an Official Artist Channel (OAC). After getting an OAC, your topic channel content will be combined into your Official Artist Channel.

If you don't apply for an OAC, your music remains on the topic channel created by YouTube. There are two types of topic channels:

1) Personal Topic Channels, which include the artist's name with "- Topic" at the end (e.g., "Bad Bunny - Topic"). These are different from the artist’s official channel.

2) Various Artists - Topic channels, which usually host songs from lesser-known artists. As artists grow in popularity, YouTube may move their songs to a dedicated topic channel.
