YouTube Content ID is a tool that identifies your music in YouTube videos and helps you earn money whenever someone uses your track.

It’s available with eMastered’s annually billed Social Media Monetization release extra for each release.

To get started, just opt in through the eMastered upload form (or afterward in the catalog page for that release).

Once enrolled, your music is added to YouTube’s Content ID system.

When a video using your music is found, YouTube places ads on it. The ad revenue—after YouTube’s 20% cut—gets deposited into your eMastered Earnings tab. If you want certain videos to use your music without triggering a claim, you can whitelist them manually.
