If you’re posting a video to Instagram, Meta, or even TikTok, make sure to attach your music using the platform’s built-in sound library rather than uploading a video with the track already embedded.
Uploading it with the song included is the most common reason videos get muted.
In some cases, videos may also be muted due to platform restrictions.
For instance, Meta and Instagram do not allow videos that mimic an audio-only experience, such as static image posts or live streams that consist mostly of matched audio.
If one of your videos is muted and you want to reduce the chances of this happening again on a profile you manage, you can reach out to eMastered support to request allowlisting or whitelisting.
