TikTok for Artists: How to Join and Use the Platform

TikTok for Artists is a platform launched by TikTok specifically for musicians, their teams, and record labels. 

It offers tools and data to help improve fan interaction, promotional efforts, and content strategies. 

Artists can also launch "Pre-release" campaigns to allow fans to pre-save their upcoming albums or EPs on Spotify and Apple Music. 

To use this platform, you need a verified artist account on TikTok.

If you're already an artist on TikTok, head to https://artists.tiktok.com and hit "Get Started" to begin registering. 

Support is available through the TikTok for Artists Help Center at https://artists.tiktok.com/help-center. 

Eligibility requires having a TikTok artist profile. 

Note that TikTok for Artists is only available in certain countries. 

To register: 

Go to https://artists.tiktok.com, click "Get Started," choose "Artist," then select "Continue with TikTok" to proceed. 

Log in and approve the connection to a TikTok Business Account (this won’t convert your account into a business profile, but is needed to access analytics). 

Once you're signed up, you’ll be able to invite team members via “Manage team.” 

Enter their emails and they’ll receive access links. 

Key features include: song performance metrics (like plays and user-created videos), post performance stats (views, comments, likes, shares), audience demographics (age, gender, language), pre-save campaign tools, and updated guides for making the most of TikTok for Artists.
