Why Daily Streaming Stats May Not Match Your Earnings

It's common for the data in Daily Stats to be different from what appears in your monthly earnings reports.

This discrepancy is due to the fact that Daily Stats and actual earnings reports are pulled from separate data sources that streaming services provide to distributors such as eMastered.

Understanding Daily Stats vs. Earnings Reports Daily Stats

Daily Stats are based on what many services call “trend reports.” These trend reports give a high-level view of how your music is performing but don’t always match final earnings.

Differences can occur due to factors like customer returns, free trials, or promotional activity on the streaming platform.

These stats update about every 24 hours with data from the day before.

Earnings Reports

Your finalized earnings reports become available in your eMastered Earnings tab once a service sends your first payment.

These reports are highly precise—down to 20 decimal places in eMastered’s system.

It typically takes streaming services 2–3 months to generate and deliver these earnings statements to eMastered.
