eMastered's Splits feature allows you to automatically divide revenue from songs or albums with other eMastered users, including collaborators, producers, and more.
Each contributor sees only their assigned percentage—no details about other collaborators are visible.
To set up a Split, sign into your eMastered account, click "Splits" or edit Splits from the Distribution Settings tab:
To configure a Split, visit the settings tab of your distribution account and click "Splits."
For "Split Level," picking "Track," will set the split percentages for a single track in a release, while the "Release," option will apply the chosen splits to all tracks in the release.
Choose the release below, click next to proceed.

From here you will see the current splits for the first (or only) track in the release, which initially will be at 100%.
To add a new contributor to it, click "+ Add collaborator," assign a percentage, and enter their name and email. "Under Revenue Share %," enter the percentage of the overall royalties they should receive.

For example, if someone is entitled to half the royalties you would put 50 here.
You will need to lower the original contributor's percentage below 100% first to be able to add a share % to a new contributor.
After reviewing and saving changes, new collaborators are notified.
Changes to Splits require re-acceptance from collaborators. You can view a release’s Splits history from the album page and manage invites there.
Unaccepted invites can be resent or removed, with withheld earnings returned to you.
Your release won’t be delayed by a pending collaborator—earnings are held until they accept. If they never do, you can remove them from the Split and recover the funds.
