When you release music through our platform, Spotify and YouTube create or update an artist page for you based on your first release.
Those pages aren’t automatically “claimed” – you claim them directly with each platform.
Here’s what to do:
1) Wait for your release to be fully live
Usually this takes 24–72 hours after we finish delivery to Spotify and YouTube Music.
2) Claim your Spotify artist profile
• Go to artists.spotify.com and click “Get access," located in the top right:
• Choose “Artist or manager”.
• Search for your artist name and select the profile that has your new release.
• Follow Spotify’s steps to verify (they may ask for social links, distributor name, etc.).
3) Claim your YouTube artist presence
• Search YouTube / YouTube Music for your artist name + release title and copy the link to the artist/Topic page that contains your music.
• Sign in to the YouTube Music / YouTube for Artists area and follow the steps to link your own YouTube channel and request an Official Artist Channel (if eligible).
If you don’t see your artist page yet, or your release appears under the wrong artist, please email us at help@emastered.com with the following info:
- Your artist name
- A link to your release in our system
- Any Spotify/YouTube links you see
- Clarification that you are looking to claim an artist profile for yourself that got created by a release through our distribution platform
Keep in mind that for future releases, you'll want to link your Spotify profile to them directly through the "link profile" buttons in the primary artist selection part of the release form, shown below and explained through this article:
