When you distribute music without including your unique Spotify Artist ID and or Apple Music Artist ID, streaming platforms may accidentally place your release on another artist’s profile—especially if you share a similar or identical name.

If your music ended up on the wrong profile on Spotify / Apple Music, you can easily submit a change request through the Artist Page Fixer, accessible under the "Settings" section of the "Distribution" part of the Account page.

From here you can select the release that ended up on the wrong profile, along with your correct Spotify or Apple Music profile URL to move it back to your profile.

Once you've added the proper profile link, click "Submit Fixer Request," and we will alert the platforms and ask them to move it for you.

When you add the primary artist for the first time, click "Link Profile," and add the relevant ID and click "Apply." The profile section will be lit up with a green checkmark saying "Linked," if the profile got added:

How Long Will This Change Request Take Once Submitted?

Profile changes like this can be processed within several days, though some cases may take several weeks. Because you won't receive a notification when it's done, please check the service periodically for updates.
